STAN DOBBS, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Stan Dobbs is the founder and Chief Executive Officer for Lionheart. After a career in the computer industry, Stan attended seminary in Fort Worth Texas and developed a passion for serving apartment communities while on staff at a church. Seeing the apartment industry's need for help in creating real community, Stan launched Apartment Life in 2000 with the support of several apartment industry executives, many of whom serve on the Board of Directors. Stan lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife Vicky. They have four children - Amelia, Aaron, Elliott, and Graham.


DONNA McCLINTOCK, President

Donna is an experienced leader in the field of early education and care. She has 30 years of proven, strategic, results-oriented leadership with a passion for serving children, families, teachers, and organizations that support families. Donna is a relationship builder, and her success is attributed to her devotion to leaders and teachers who share her passion for the classroom. She successfully developed, grew, managed, and brought to market a national corporate-sponsored child care company with operations in 26 states. Donna understands the challenges of exceeding in quality while managing purposeful growth. She is married to Nate, who is the Executive Pastor at Life Central Church in Plano, Texas. Their greatest joys are traveling and enjoying their children/grandchildren. Donna considers the role of mother and grandmother to be her most joyful of all her work with young children.


PETER WAYMAN, Chief Financial Officer

Pete has over 30 years of executive leadership in the HR Outsourcing field. He has been the CFO, COO, and CEO of industry market leaders. He has started/sold companies and pioneered a service delivery concept that resulted in operating over 100 service centers across the globe. Peter has been in full–time ministry for the past two years with Gospel-based evangelical ministries. He has a 30–year track record of evangelical church leadership and is currently serving in his seventh year as elder at Irving Bible Church in the Dallas metro area. Peter has been married for almost 40 years to his college sweetheart, whose degree and work experience are in nursery and kindergarten education. They have two adult daughters and three grandchildren.


LINDA OWENS, VP OPERATIONS

Linda has 29 years of experience in the child care industry as a leader, regional manager, trainer, teacher, project manager, policy and program developer, and new center/project launch lead. Linda’s experience and relationship with communities has been used both outside and inside of the non-profit sector. Currently completing a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Linda continues to invest in communities by planning and developing quality early childhood programs to meet the needs of today’s families. Linda and her husband Tim enjoy spending time with their daughter, grandchildren and family. They also enjoy visiting antique shops and restoring furniture as often as they can.


SONJA SAMUEL, VP OPERATIONS

Sonja brings more than 20 years of both corporate and non-profit leadership experience to Lionheart. With a passion for ministry and children, Sonja has traveled the globe as a consultant, speaker, short term missionary, and life empowerment strategist. She considers it a privilege to have worked with Fortune 500 corporations, various international organizations, government agencies and municipalities to accelerate growth, improve operations, build capacity, and transform communities. A former radio host, print model and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Sonja began her business career as a Certified Public Accountant, which led her to corporate consulting and several years as a HR Manager overseeing General Affairs. In ministry, Sonja has served as a Development and Executive Director, a Bible teacher, Student Minister, and a church and leadership consultant. She currently serves on the pastoral staff of a local inner city church. Along with being an avid traveler and beach enthusiast, Sonja loves mentoring youth and young adults, and empowering people to impact their world, fulfill their destiny and make a divine difference!


JAKE COLLINS, VP SCHOOL OPERATIONS

With an eclectic array of interests and passions, Jake has experience in the medical, educational, travel, and Christian camping industries. He most recently spent 8 years at Pine Cove Christian Camps where he served in a variety of positions, his latest as a leadership development coach for young professionals. He has a track record for using creative solutions to further God's Kingdom purposes and further human development. Jake is pursuing an MDIV from Southwestern Seminary with intents of completing a doctorate shortly after. When he is not around the classroom creating fun for kids, you can find him enjoying his own fun as a mountaineer, leading study tours, photography, writing, or running with the bulls in Spain.


GARY STAATS, CONSULTANT, PROJECT LEADER

Gary Staats is an accomplished Business Executive who enjoys the challenges associated with organizational leadership. After a 30 year career in the senior housing industry and owner of his own company, Gary now serves Lionheart Children's Academy with a desire to have an increasing impact on the lives of children and families through the child care industry. Married for 37 years, Gary has four adult children with growing families, including four grandchildren and counting. Lionheart's unique approach has drawn Gary to enthusiastically embrace a new passion and apply some of what has been learned over a successful career in a service-based development and operation organization.
