Special Announcement

March 26, 2020

Dear Lionheart Families,

We are in uncharted waters and we know that many of you are facing stresses that seem overwhelming. Please know that we are here for you; we care deeply about you and your family, and we are striving to provide the care and support you need.

As many of you know, we resumed operations at all academies this past Monday, in order to serve our families that still needed care. As always, we took measures to meet the evolving requirements of all local health departments, child care licensing, the CDC and other regulatory agencies since we reopened.

Information and best practices are continuing to evolve, and since reopening, our local counties and some cities have issued Shelter in Place mandates that were not previously in effect. After listening to the needs of the community, we saw that the need for child care is extremely low and the need to take precautionary measure to flatten the curve is essential as we do our part to help our communities combat this terrible outbreak. Taking all these factors into consideration, we have made the decision to close our Academies next week (March 30-April 3), while the Shelter in Place is in effectTo care well for our families who may be utilizing family or others to care for their children, and those experiencing difficulty due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we of course will not charge tuition during this closure. Additionally, as we seek to extend support and care to our teachers and leadership teams, we will continue to pay all of our staff. We are confident that this will provide the stability needed for your child to return to Lionheart.

We plan to open once the Shelter in Place is liftedWe will continue to monitor the government mandates and check on the needs of our families to determine if we need to extend the closure past April 3When we formally announce our re-opening date, we will not charge any fees for enrolled families to return on our re-opening date.

We know this is a difficult time for many families. Please let us know if your family needs specific prayer during this time so that our ministers, staff, and our leaders can be praying on your behalf. We have missed each one of you and we know that we are better together.

With warmest regards,

CEO and Founder
