Shelley

Academy Director

I am honored to be the Lionheart Academy Director at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, bringing 33 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education. My background includes roles as a lead preschool teacher, elementary teacher, assistant principal in CA USD, and principal in CA USD and TX ISD, since 2007. I hold a Bachelor's in Child Development and a Master's in Educational Leadership from California State University, Fullerton, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher for ages 3-8. Residing in Little Elm with my daughter Tesla Anne and our cat Sydney Socks, I enjoy reading, documentaries, boating, Supercross/Motocross, and family time. I am excited to engage with the Lionheart Children's Academy community, committed to nurturing young children's academic, social, and spiritual growth while instilling God's love in their everyday experiences.
